The Viva Mexico Women's Festival celebrates women in the world of Mexican music & Cultural arts. This event will highlight a presentation of Female musicians & Ballet folklorico dancers as well as food trucks and craft vendors.

Los Altos Mariachi Arts Council is a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote, elevate and preserve the mariachi music genre, Hispanic culture, and the arts. The organization brings awareness about mariachi music to communities through educational
initiatives such as workshops, concerts and festivals throughout the U.S. A central focus is to support women in mariachi music as well as empower leaders of new and established mariachi
organizations through mentor programs and workshops to reach their full potential. The events and festivals organized through this nonprofit establish resources to create a stage for mariachi music as well as Hispanic cultural arts.

How much is admission?This is a FREE, family-friendly festival presented by Los Altos Mariachi Arts Council in partnership with the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office.

What can I expect at the festival?Get ready for a jam-packed day of fun! The Viva Mexico Women's Festival will feature 35+ crafts vendors, food trucks, live music, dance groups, DJ, and emcee host who are ALL-women!

Will there be seating available?We invite all attendees to bring chairs and/or blankets to relax on while enjoying performances! Lawn seating is first-come, first-serve.

What kind of food and drinks will be available?The Viva Mexico Women's Festival will feature women-owned food trucks. Beer & seltzers will be available for purchase with the option to upgrade your drinks to a michelada!

Can I bring a cooler with my own drinks or outside food?Outside food and alcohol are not permitted on-site. Food and alcohol will be for sale at the venue.

What payment methods will be accepted?Beer booths and official festival merchandise sales will be cashless. Credit/debit cards and Tap to Pay will be available, though our several crafts vendors and food trucks may accept cash at their own discretion.

Are pets allowed?Yes, furry friends are welcome at the festival. Please ensure pets remain on a leash and are under control at all times.

What's the parking situation like?Free parking is available at the Mission Marquee Plaza on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional parking will be available at the nearby VFW for $5.
